When your back is against the wall, what do you do? Join Darlene "Queen Bee" Dennison as she goes through the highs and lows of a hustler's life, with a female twist. Darlene was forced into the game, after the death of her kingpin husband Phillip who ran "Cook City". Now if that isn’t enough of a story, this entire novel is set in the seventies! The time line was a fun addition although there were some areas in which the present era was mixed with the past. The author made a great attempt at offering the urban genre a little spice, but the story lacks proper editing and at times ran the risk of boring the reading die to the repetitive scenes/stories/situation throughout the novel.

1. What did you like best about this book?
I liked that the story was set in the seventies.

2. What did you dislike about this book?
I did not like that chapter after chapter the same story/scene was being described.

3. How can the author improve this book?
This book is in need of a thorough edit before it can fulfill all its potential.

I met Wise in person, when I bought this book. He's a really cool person. As far, as the book, I give it 4 stars. Could of been better if Wise written the story with more detail.
