Reviewed by: Delonya Conyers Milan Kennedy is the proprietor of Atlanta’s steamy Erotic City. A trendy swinger club that she runs with help of her boyfriend, former heavy weight champion Lavender Lewis. Running the club is no easy fete but by offering her patrons the chance to live out all of their kinky fantasies Milan has managed to do very well for herself. But when a patron accuses a popular rapper of forcible rape in one of Erotic City’s VIP rooms Milan’s club comes under intense scrutiny. Making the situation much worse is the fact that the alleged victim just happens to be Lavender’s psychotic baby’s mother; Ramada. Ramada is not only jealous of Milan’s and Lavender’s relationship but she’s sworn that she’ll never allow Milan and her swinging lifestyle to be anywhere near her son. Totally forgetting that it was her alternate urges that drove her and Lavender to Erotic City in the first place, destroying their relationship yet spurning the one between Lavender and Milan. Thus making Milan and Lavender’s relationship that much harder for Ramada to withstand. Dealing with Ramada was hard enough for Milan all ready but the threat to her livelihood might be the straw that breaks the back of her and Lavender’s relationship. Adding to Milan’s stress is the fact that her deceased father’s ex-wife Nancy is threatening to contest his will, which only divided his numerous assets between Milan and her sister Tamiko. Nancy went from being his father’s mistress to his wife when Milan and Tamiko’s mother finally tired of his philandering ways. The marriage was short lived but Nancy wants to be fully compensated for her time by his side. But both Milan and Tamiko are refusing to allow Nancy any more than the divorce decree allotted her. Erotic City manages to deliver steamy scenes inside of the club while at the same time delivering interesting plot lines outside of the club. Resulting in an entertaining yet highly erotic read.
