Lashay Henderson a.k.a. Rainbow, is a full time college student residing in Daytona, Florida who supports herself by dancing at a local strip club. Her boyfriend, Cheddar, lives in Tallahassee. Rainbow loves Cheddar but eventually she tires of his possessiveness, especially when he picks up a cocaine habit which makes him extremely jealous and violent. But not only is Rainbow's love life suffering her grades are dropping as well due to all the late nights she puts in at the club.

In an attempt to refocus, Rainbow dumps Cheddar and quits the club in order to maintain her academic scholarship. But now that her G.P.A is back on track her pockets are suffering, so Rainbow decides to start moving weight from Miami to Daytona Beach for Tavares a.k.a. Bump. Bump has been crushing on Rainbow since seeing her work the pole at Club Pussy, but Rainbow was far too caught up in school and Cheddar to get with Bump's advances. But when the opportunity arises to get Rainbow on his team Bump can't say no.

Rainbow is a fast learner and soon the duo is making money, hand over fist. Having grown content with their business relationship Bump is shocked when Rainbow finally makes her move on him. The two work well as a team in the sheets and on the streets and eventually Bump lets Rainbow handle weed sales, supplying her campus and her old strip buddies. Rainbow's new status as Bump's partner has Cheddar fuming and he sends his cousin D-Money to infiltrate Bump's crew in an attempt to get revenge and take over Bump's organization. Will Rainbow's book smarts and Bump's street smarts help them avoid Cheddar's plot?

What did you like best about the book?
I absolutely loved the Florida slang which not only added lots of flavor but gave the characters a distinctive voice.

What did you dislike about the book?
Certain parts of the story dragged and could have been cut out altogether to give the story a better flow.

How could the author improve this book?
Omitting the repetitiveness of some of the characters actions would improve the book immensely. For example Bump and Rainbow went through the exact same steps during every drug transaction which made the drug exchanges tedious instead of exciting.
