I remember you telling me about Shannon and how shady he was, talking bout he left because you didn't sleep with him, I was skeptical then. Cause Shannon a standup guy, and then when I asked you about getting in contact with Kwame, you gave me the run around talkin bout I can give you his fanmail address. That shit was fake as hell to me, cause this nigga was doing life, and if anything a nigga wants to holler at a brotha, Mail in jail is lyke money, everybody wants letters in there. But luckily he wrote the Murder Dog and they printed his address, you BASTARD and now Kwame is a good friend and Mentor of mine. Yeah you struggled, but you did what so many of us who make it of the ghetto do. Make it out and forget where you came from, and then you told me when C-Murder hollered at you about his book Death around the corner, and I'll bet your really mad now that him and Kwame have created Tru Publishing. YOU GOT TO BE THE DUMBEST MUTHAFUCKA EVER, IN THE GREAT WORDS OF PIMP C (RIP) FUC YOU IN YO PUSSY!

@ Toogie, Teri Woods is not going to behave like an adult, let alone a professional. She just doesn't have it in her. Kwame took the high road and gave the people what they wanted - Dutch 3 - and I applaud him for that. He not only took a stand for himself but the many other authors out there in similar situations with scrupulous publishers. We as black people do need to look at the bigger picture and stop supporting these publishers all together until they get their acts together.

THE BIGGER PICTURE is that as black people we get and take s... from every other race in America and abroad. We need to stop giving and having to take s... from our own.
NEEDED: Black professionals capable of looking out for each other, portraying oneself properly in the media, possess unwaivering resolve to stand by All verbal and written agreements. ALWAYS!
We can do so much better.
Take the problem to the source. All the time!
Ms. Woods and Mr. Teague should sit down as professionals and discuss their issue together on the same show instead of taking shots at each other on separate shows.
The person at fault-since they cannot both be telling the truth-should "MAN-UP" and do the right thing. Period.

Teri Woods you are on some real foul shit at this point in your precious career. Is it the money from the multi million dollar deal or is it the fame that's getting you DOWN? Or perhaps it's that foolywang ... writing in your most recent book. For the record Ms. Bi-polar, Kwame did what he had to do and in doing that he took a giant stand for the entire genre. As an author in the genre what Kwame did for himself, his readers, and most importantly his family was ultra heroic. You Indy publishers think you can just keep playing mind and money games with your authors and no one pays...NOT...Kwame took one for the team with his release of Dutch: The Finale...AND for the record haters(Teri) the book is border line urban genius...Kwame drops so many jewels through those pages it's unreal. Teri and Lu relax and get over it already...Yeah you dropped the golden egg when you rejected Ductch: The Finale...make changes...you can't even write your own book so why would Kwame allow you to edit or change anything...he might be in prison but he knows damn well at the end of the day you ain't writing out anything but checks for you bills...you are so removed from our genre it's sad. Of course you paved the way but you also played too many games with too many good people. Go spend your millions, get theraphy, and some media training because you sound so ignorant on the air and in print. Stop running around send everybody letters warning them to ceast and ... ist with Dutch: The Finale...FYI Teri...the streets is moving Dutch III and you can't touch any of us!!!!! It's the authors, his peers that will hold him down no matter what or who...we are everywhere and your lawyers can't send us all letters...DUTCH III HAS WINGS AND WILL CONTINUE TO FLY...YOU ARE OUT NUMBERED!!!!! And no we don't want you to PUT your BOOTLEG version of Dutch out and if you do we will band together and boycott the fake...we will send petitions to book stores and CONTACT every URBAN FICTION reader via websites and etc. keep playing if you want to Teri...IT'S A WRAP THIS TIME and you have no one to blame but Teri!!!!! At the end of the day your gangsta ain't that strong and we have had enough!!!!! Sit down some where and spend your riches and let this ride because THE STREETS IS MOVING DUTCH: THE FINALE...YOU CAN'T STOP US ALL!!!!!

I applaud Kwame and his dedication to the streets. As a writer I feel his p ... ion. He's a focused individual and is not going to allow anyone to misrepresent him or step all over him and his work. The streets have been thirsting for Dutch III for too long so regardless if he had to go underground to get it out or if he would have stayed with Ms. Woods is irrelevant. The book is now here and I for one am loving it. You have to have a connection and a deep connection with the streets in order to write or rhyme about them and I for one do not believe Ms. Woods fits the bill. There are things about Nu' Jer'ze that only brothas and sistas from Nu' Jer'ze can write about and make it believable. Kwame has definably proven to be the authenticator of all three books and I wish him continued success. He is right, there are too many angles out here that allow us as writers to be noticed and we do not always have to go to the majors. It may be idealistically but not always a reality and by keeping it close to the streets we reach those who are works are intended to reach!

Thank you to the Urban Book Source for posting Kwame's interview with Wendy Williams. I heard about it but was not able to tune it at the time of the interview. But I have to disagree with calling it a "Dutch beef." It should be everyone's beef. Everyone that purchased a copy of Dutch or any other title that held the name Teri Woods but was not written by her should have a beef. I for one don't appreaciate the misrepresentation by Ms. Woods. She still could have presented the novels and put her name all over the covers while at the same time giving each author credit for his own work. And then the way she has handled this whole situation is ridiculous. Running down behind street vendors and throwing temper tantrums in stores is very unprofessional but shows Teri's true being. This should be titled "The People's Beef with Teri Woods." I'm glad the truth is out and that she has been exposed and hope the same goes for other publishers taking advantage of their authors, particularly those incarcerated. Vickie Stringer, I guess you're next.

NONE of the authors on TWP has received the money that they deserved. What she gave them pales in comparison to the money that she made off of them and continues to make as she pretends that she is an author. She even got a deal with Grand Publishing based on THEIR work. For the record, Teri Woods is not an author. She publishes other authors work as her own and then does everything she can to make sure that no one knows even going so far as to get on the radio and lie. To go to book signings and lie. She is a fraud and everyone should stop supporting her sheisty ways. BOYCOTT TWP.
