Silk White

Silk White is a man of few words but his novels speak volumes. The 25-year-old author has two books out on Good2Go Publishing. Although this business isn't easy, he has stayed positive and had taken any opportunity thrown his way. His stories are fast paced and will wrap you into them with their articulate and descriptive wording.

Thanks to his fans and their support he has been successful and has definitely found his niche.


What books do you have out?
Currently I have two books out "Married to Da Streets" which came out in 2007, and "Tears of a hustler" which is my newest release. Both can be purchased at good2gopublishing.com and amazon.com.

Who published them?
I have been a self-published author for the past two years. In 2007 I started Good2Go Publishing.

Why did you start writing?
While in prison I started reading urban fiction books to pass the time. It made me want to tell my story in my own words. I never planned on putting it out. But when I came home and let a few people read my writing, they enjoyed it, so I decided why not.

What are your books about?
My books are what I would like to call urban reality. Each one of my stories is someone's reality told in an urban setting.

What do you think of the literary game?
I think it’s a good way for people to get their work out there and I think its creating jobs and income for a lot of people, so I think the game is good.

What books and authors do you admire?
I admire a good storyteller I have taken a lot of interest in James Patterson. I also like K'wan and Donald Goines.

What future projects do you have coming up?
Um . . . I got joints done just waiting for the right time to put them out, also in the near future I’m gong to be looking forward to signing some new up and coming authors.

What it do, boo? You sho is persistent. Persistence will definitely take you all the way to the top. I read your debut tomb, married to the streets. Great fast paced book. I'm looking forward to reaing your sophomore tomb. In the meantime, stay with YAH (Creator of all) and keep it positive.

I have been following this author's career since Married th da streets and i have definitely seen his growth. He is an author to watch. I also heard it thru the grapevine that their might be an upcoming DVD. I hope so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I dont know about anywhere else but he has BK and ATL on smash.
