The Urban Book Source is an information source for readers, writers, authors, publishers and vendors of urban literature. We do not publish books.
Are you a literary agency? Do you represent authors/writers? Can you refer authors/writers to literary agents?
No. UBS is not a literary agency and does not market, pitch, or represent any authors/writers nor do we refer authors/writers to literary agents.
How do I get featured?
If you are a published author looking to promote your work and have something worthy of a feature, let us know. We certainly can't feature all, but we try to accommodate everyone.

What is the process for book reviews?
Once your book is received, it is logged into our Book Checklist where it awaits to be read by someone from our staff. You may check back from time to time to view the status of your book in review. Please do not contact us regarding your book once it has been logged in our Book Checklist. All books will be reviewed in the order they were received.
How long does it take for a book review?
A book review can take anywhere from 6-14 weeks.
Where can I see my book review once it is published?
All book reviews are posted on The Urban Book Source, Amazon.com, and bn.com (Barnes and Nobles).
Why doesn’t UBS review electronic (ebooks, pdf) submissions?
Due to the lack of portability and convenience, UBS does not review electronic submissions.
Why doesn’t UBS review manuscripts/unpublished works?
The Urban Book Source is not a publishing company, therefore manuscript submissions are not accepted.
I can’t sign into your forums, even after I registered.
Be sure you have validated your registration through your email. Once you have registered for the UBS forums, you will receive an email confirming your signup, you must view this email and confirm that you have willingly signed up for the forum.
